At work, I enjoy simplifying complex systems and ideas. I’ve had the opportunity to learn and write about cutting-edge technologies in cyber security, bioinformatics, and finance–learning new things keeps me energized and excited at work. I’m looking for opportunities where I can continue to explore and grow as a writer, mentor, and developer.
Outside of work you can find me tending to my tomatoes, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, or out enjoying the lakes.
UX Text
UX text is such an important piece of the documentation puzzle– it can answer common product questions without taking the user out of their workflow. Users want to be able to self service, so the right UX text empowers users to be successful on their own.
Here’s some examples of times when I have collaborated with product designers and developers to create helpful UX text.
Documentation Examples
I am an expert in creating the right content needed for a feature, release, or integration. I collect data from site analytics, support tickets, and internal stakeholders to prioritize documentation needs.

I created a developer documentation site, which included an auto-generated API reference from an openAPI spec.
